Dominican beer is very similar to Bud Light, with slightly more flavor. Just like any other beer that goes down smoothly, it brings people together. Resorts typically only have Presidente, unless you join the Preferred Club for your stay. That will grant you access to Coors, Heineken, and Corona. Party boats will serve Bohamia, which is better than Presidente, but that may be thanks to the sun and salt water. 

Back home, Mike and I love craft beers from a local brewery’s taproom. I’ve even written about their beer for a previous daily post. They don’t serve food, so we bring Jorah and drink up. We are one of several regulars, many of whom have slowly become closer acquaintances. It quickly became our Cheers. When the topic of going on vacation arose, we drunkenly couldn’t let the open invitation disappear. The more the merrier with this group of people, and what better way to get to know friends than to travel with them. Cerveza brought us together in the States and closer in the Dominican.
