Reset (066)
How do you reset your body after going on vacation? I still haven’t figured it out. This year, I am thankful that I do not have a regular job to report to after returning home. I don’t know how I’d make it through a day. I have been asleep almost as much as I’ve been awake since we got home. Even today, after sleeping for about ten hours last night, I laid down on the couch and fell asleep for two solid hours.
We go in for a Covid test tomorrow morning to make sure we didn’t pick it up on the way home. We haven’t been out other than to the dog park with Jorah. When we picked him up, we all had on masks just in case, and did not get close to each other. It’s a bit stressful being on a plane right now, especially when you witness idiots who have to be repeatedly told to put their mask back up over their nose. There have been flights that landed prematurely in a different city in order to remove belligerent patrons who ruined the trips for everyone else on the plane. You don’t think it’s really that difficult of a concept until you see so many people who can’t even follow federal aviation laws. Luckily, we got home without incident. We just need to rest and recoup now so we can get back to normal, boring every day life.
