Chores (038)

Today started slowly. I crawled out of bed and into a hot bath to read before even attempting to think about what needed to get done before I could allow myself back into the sheets. One load of laundry did make its way into the washer before the bathtub swallowed my body. Managed to get five loads washed, so this week’s Wash It Wednesday is downgraded to Okay Andrea Now Hang It Up Wednesday. 

We went to Costco to look for a rug for our entryway and to buy potting soil for the thousand spider plant babies that are ready for a pot of their own. Costco didn’t have a rug that size, so we had to go to Menard’s. We found a nice rug and anti-slip mat, some smart plugs for lights, a wall shelf bracket that will be used to hang up Papaw’s globe light in the living room. I’m looking forward to getting that hung up. First I have to fix it because it had been snipped and it was electrical and duct taped, so I’m going to properly crimp it back together before I hang it up and plug it in. I just have to add that to my chore list to do before Saturday.
